Dan Charity is a London based freelance photographer who for the past eight years has worked for Britain's largest and most successful national title, The Sun Newspaper.
After leaving school he opted for a NCTJ press photography course at the Sheffield College. During this time he was lucky enough to be recommended for a photographers position with Solent News in Hampshire, considered one of England's leading press agencies. After becoming their Chief Photographer and with four years agency experience shooting everything from PR corporate images, tabloid exclusives and broadsheet features, Dan left to work for The Sun in London.
Assignments over recent years include the Tsunami, London Bombing's, Tibet, Iraq and Afghanistan theatre's of war. These combined with photo coverage on royal exclusives in Africa, studio based glamour shoots and a multitude of features throughout Great Britain.
Dan's work has taken him around world, sometimes retracing the photographic footsteps of his father.
